With great Pride, I introduce myself, Beth Rigatuso, as your United in Pride 2012 President of Heartland Pride; I am one of the founding members of Heartland Pride and look forward to serving our community for many years to come. I have demonstrated a long history of Pride in the Omaha community and have been an out and active lesbian since the late 80's. I was present for the inception of CFEP and played a key role in the campaign against 416 back in 2000. As the fundraising director I was responsible for helping raise more than $100K to fund our efforts and even debated the opponents on public television. I have appeared on numerous local TV and radio stations as an out lesbian. On a side note Beth was a Pride Idol finalist in 2007 and loves to sing! I am the proud owner of Catch Creative a local video production and photography studio. My gift lies with having a very creative eye and I take great pride in my work. Catch Creative, You'll love how we see it! When I am not filming or being a community activist, I maintain a menagerie of one rabbit, three dogs, and five cats, including Malaya, a lucky Bengal adept at fishing spearmint gum from my mouth mid-chew. It is a combination of my passion for the GLBTQ and Allies community and my extensive background in TV and radio that makes me a perfect fit to really put Pride back in Pride.I can be reached via

Jane Infantino comes to Pride with a wealth of knowledge and experience working in the non-profit arena. She has served as secretary for Rotary club and has experience as a small business owner as well as a mother! She has always been an ally and stepped in to this leadership role with Pride to assist us with inspiring other allies to serve! We are grateful for her mad organization skills and her keen sense of business.
My name is Helen Savage and I was honored to be asked to serve as a Board Member for Heartland Pride. I was born in England and raised in the Netherlands. At the age of 17 I relocated with my parents to Northern Michigan where I spent a year figuring out what to do with my life. After my parents relocated to Davenport, Iowa, I decided to follow them and start college. I have been a resident of Iowa for almost 15 years and I am proud to live in the Equality State. I received my law degree in December, 2002 from Drake University and was sworn into the Iowa Bar in April 2003. A year later I was sworn into the Illinois Bar. I worked for a firm in Davenport for a little over 4 years until I decided to move to Council Bluffs where I have my own practice. In Davenport I came out of the closet, which, in part, spurred my relocation to Council Bluffs. After spending 10 years in Davenport I decided it was time to move to the other side of Iowa where I settled down and recently built a house with my wonderful fiancée whom I will wed this September. Since moving to Council Bluffs I have been very active within the GLBT community and been a part of the fight for marriage equality. I am a member of the Council Bluffs Community Alliance and have spent some of my time in Des Moines speaking with our legislators and educating them on why equality is important to me, the GLBT community and the state of Iowa. I am excited to be a part of Heartland Pride and look forward to working with the Board to make this the best Pride that Omaha and Council Bluffs have ever had. You may reach me via
