Please feel free to fill out our volunteer application and share with us your specific interests but for now suffice it to say we need the following support:
Co-Pride Chairs - These individuals will host the event and run the committee meetings as well as put together committee chairs. This is not a board position and one of you will be required to come to the monthly board meeting to report your activities. And get any approvals on spending or additional support you need. The board handles all budget requirements and will vote on any major spending.
The following board positions are open. Board positions require previous experience serving on the board of a non profit or related business experience. It is a requirement as a board member you attend the monthly board meetings and assist in recruiting committee chairs. We are a working board, that means we are responsible for leading the organization as well as do much of the planning and organizing of Pride. An additional requirement of board positions is to assist with fundraising events as well as take the lead and head a committee at Pride and be present for a significant portion of Pride. We also have an annual Board In-Service which is a day long board work day and attendance is required for all sitting board members.
To apply for a board position please submit your cover letter and resume to
so an interview with the board can be scheduled. Please be sure to highlight your Non Profit experience in your cover letter and resume. In order to qualify you must attend a minimum of two board meetings as a non-board member. Once you have met this requirement you will be moved on to the interview stage.

Pride 2013 will again be at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village! We are extending our event to take place over three days and look forward to continued growth! Pride 2012 was a smashing success and we are still getting many positive responses so we have no doubt 2013 is going to be AMAZING! The dates set for Pride 2013 are as follows:
Thursday June 20th 7:30-9P Harvey Milk Candle Light Vigil
Friday June 21st 7-10P Opening Ceremonies (Gates Open at 6P)
Saturday June 22nd Festival (Gates open at 11A, show starts at 1P)
